HD2010UC jest przenośnym całkującym miernikiem poziomu dźwięku wykonującym analizę statystyczną. Przyrząd został zaprojektowany tak, aby łączył maksymalną elastyczność użytkowania, niski koszt i łatwość obsługi. Zwrócono uwagę na możliwość dostosowania przyrządu do wymagań regulacyjnych i konieczność spełnienia dzisiejszych i przyszłych potrzeb użytkownika. HD2010UC może być w dowolnej chwili wyposażony w inne opcje w celu rozszerzenia jego zakresu stosowania; firmware może być aktualizowany bezpośrednio przez użytkownika za pomocą programu NoiseStudio. HD2010UC spełnia wymagania norm IEC 61672-1:2002, IEC 60651 oraz IEC 60804 dla tolerancji w klasach 2 lub 1.
